HomeMy WebLinkAboutAdden D SUNSET NEIGHBORHOOD PARK, PHASE 2 BID ADDENDUM D 20 SEPTEMBER 2019 ADDENDUM — D TO THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR City of Renton SUNSET NEIGHBORHOOD PARK, PHASE 2 Project Issued: August 28, 2019 Addendum D Issued: September 20, 2019 Bid Opening Date: September 24, 2019 To: All Holders of Bid/Contract Documents: This addendum forms part of the Contract Documents and modifies the original Plans and Specifications, for which proposals are due on the date and time above. Acknowledge receipt of this addendum on "Addenda Received" of the Bid Documents in the Contract Documents. Failure to do so might subject the bidder to disqualification. This addendum shall clarify the Contract Documents as follows: Item No. 1 — Drawing C-18, Decorative Mist Feature Plan 1. Revise Callout: FOG MODULE SERVICE BOX, SEE SHEET C-19 to read: FOG MODULE SERVICE BOX, SEE SHEET C-20. 2. Revise Callout: (10) NSF HIGH PRESSURE HOSE ROUTE TO FOG MODULE to read: (10) NSF HIGH PRESSURE HOSE ROUTE TO FOG MODULE WITHIN 3-INCH DUCTS. CONTRACTOR TO SUBMIT PLAN SHOP DRAWINGS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONTRACT SPECIFICATIONS PRIOR TO INSTALLATION. Item No. 2 —ADD Drawing C-22, Decorative Mist Feature System Schematics 1. Adds Drawing C-22 with System Schematics. Item No. 3 —ADD Drawing C-23, Decorative Mist Feature Schedule & Notes 1. Adds Drawing C-23 with Schedule and Notes. Item No. 4—Drawing G-1, Vicinity Map, General Legend, General Notes, Drawing Index, Project Contacts 1. Revise Drawing Index by adding the following, in sequence: A-110 Gazebo Elevations C-22 Decorative Mist Feature System Schematics C-23 Decorative Mist Feature Schedule & Notes Addendum D-Page 1 of 2 SUNSET NEIGHBORHOOD PARK, PHASE 2 BID ADDENDUM D 20 SEPTEMBER 2019 Item No. 5— 13 12 00 Decorative Mist Feature 1. Replace subsection 3.11, A. with the following: 3.11 CONTROLLER AND WIND CONTROL EQUIPMENT PROGRAMMING & ADJUSTMENTS A. Program the controller using factory-trained technicians to create 2 zones. Each zone will control 5 illuminated fog/mist modules each and control program using an on/off system in the following sequence pattern: 1. Sequence: Zone 1 is on. Zone 2 is off. 2. Sequence: Zone 1 is on. Zone 2 is on. 3. Sequence: Zone 1 is off. Zone 2 is on. 4. Sequence: Zone 1 is off. Zone 2 is off. 5. Sequence: Zone 1 is off. Zone 2 is on. 6. Sequence: Zone 1 is on. Zone 2 is on. 7. Sequence: Zone 1 is on. Zone 2 is off. 8. Sequence: Zone 2 is off. 9. Repeat sequence pattern. The duration of each sequence will be set in the field by the Owner's Representative during field review and testing of the system as well designation of the modules within each zone. Final program settings of the controller shall be documented as part of the Operations & Maintenance Manual. Item No. 6 —05 12 00 Structural Steel Framing 1. In subsection 3.05, A. 1. replace specification reference "Section 09 90 00" with the specification reference "Section 09 91 13". Addendum D-Page 2 of 2
