THIS INDENTURE, Made this 3rd day of October, 1963, between A. A. TREMPER,
as Treasurer of King County, State of Washington, party of the first part, and
the CITY OF RENTON, a municipal corporation, party of the second part .
WITNESSETH: That whereas the Board of County Commissioners of the County
of King, State of Washington, after negotiation with representatives of the
CITY OF RENTON, has, by unanimous action on September 23, 1963, authorized the
conveyance of the following described real property to the CITY OF RENTON,
pursuant to Section 12, Chapter 254, Laws of 1945, of the State of Washington,
for valuable consideration, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged. I have
this day sold to the CITY OF RENTON, the following described real estate and
which said real estate is the property of King County and which is particularly
described as follows, to-wit :
That portion of the W2 of the NE* of the NW* of Sec . 16, Twp. 23 N. ,
Rge 5 E., W.M. , included within a strip of land 100 feet in width,
having 50 feet of such width on each side of a center line described
as follows:
Beginning on the north line of Sec . 16, Twp. 23 N. ,
Rge. 5 E. , W.M. , at a point 611 .04 ft Wly of the
North * corner of said Sec . 16, thence from an initial
bearing of N 88°531 38" W, along the arc of a curve to
the left, having a radius of 572.96 ft . , a distance of
471 .98 feet . , thence S 43°54130" W, a distance of 200.0
ft, thence along the arc of a curve to the right, having
a radius of 572.96 ft . , a distance of 195 ft . M/L to the
West line of said West I.
Together with that portion of said West 2 lying Sly of
4th Ave. N; Wly of the above described 100 ft . strip
of land and Ely of a line which is 265 ft . Ely of and
parallel to the W line of said West I.
Now, therefore, know ye that I, A. A. TREMPER, County Treasurer of said
County of King, State of Washington, in consideration of the premises and by
virtue of said Section 12, Chapter 254, Laws of 1945, of the State of Wash-
ington, do hereby grant and convey to the CITY OF RENTON, a municipal corporation,
the said real estate hereinbefore described, as fully and completely as the said
party of the first part can, by virtue of the premises convey the same.
