Le: THE STATE OF WASHINGTON, for and in consideration of mutual benefits, hereby
conveys and quitclaims unto the CITY OF RENTON, a municipal corporation, all its
right, title and interest, in and to the following described property in King
County, State of Washington:
All that portion of the following described Parcel "A" lying Northerly
of a line drawn parallel to and 62.5 feet distant Northwesterly, when
measured radially, from the center line of Primary State Highway No. 5,
Renton to Earlington.
PARCEL "A"a
Commencing at the North Quarter corner of Section 19, Township
23 North, Range 5 East, W.M., and running thence North 82°?111 Blue-print
East 36 feet and South 1°581 West 314.3 feet to the true point on file in
of beginning; thence East 30.02 feet; thence South 1°58, West Vault.
847.39 feet; thence South ?5°151 West 2.0 feet; thence North
0°151 West 81+7.39 feet; thence East 14,44 feet to the true point
of beginning.
The lands herein conveyed contain an area of 10,538 square feet, more or less,
the specific details concerning all of which are to be found within those certain
maps of definite location now of record and on file in the office of the Director
of Highways at Olympia, Washington, Primary State Highway No. 5, Orilla to Renton
bearing date of approval May 18, 1916 and Primary State Highway No. 5, Renton to
Earlington bearing date of approval January 16, 1922, revised April 26, 1960.
The lands herein described are not required for State Highway purposes and
are conveyed pursuant to the provisions ofC1} .pter 381., Laws of 1955.

Dear Jack:
We're returning to you a photostat of Quitclaim Deed and County Assessor's notation
which seem, to raise the question of ownership of the subject prc.L;,.. ;.;. The City
Clerk advises, that according to the County Assessor, the property is owned by Mr.
Pierotti. We, of course* have no way of checking this description and we had not
seen the Quitclaim Deed until this date. We would therefore request that you verify
the description contained in the deed and also determine for what reason the con-
veyance was made. Possibly, this is portion of the property that the State had ac-
quired from Mr. Pierotti some tine ago. You may wish to check this out with the State
Highway Right-of-Way Division.
If we can help in any way, please let us know. ,J

We have received a memo from the King County Assessor, Drafting Department,
copy of which is enclosed, wherein they advise that their records show Mr.
Emilio Pierotti to be the fee owner of property described on the enclosed
Quit Claim Deed. We have checked with the City Engineer who advises that
this property was deeded to the City by the State Highway Department and
the description, furnished by them is, according to the best of his know-
ledge correct, and is of State Highway owned property.
Please advise of further procedure to be taken by this office.
