AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO AGREEMENT FOR EXTENSION OF
CEDAR RIVER TRESTLE BRIDGE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
THIS AMENDMENT, dated December )7 , 2019, is by and between the City of Renton (the
"City"), a Washington municipal corporation, and WSP USA, INC. ("Consultant"), a New York
corporation. The City and the Consultant are referred to collectively in this Amendment as the
"Parties." Once fully executed by the Parties, this Amendment is effective as of the last date
signed by both parties.
Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Consultant under Agreement CAG-18-109, dated
June 5, 2019,to provide necessary services for the Cedar River Trestle Bridge (referred to herein
as the "Agreement");
Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to change the time for performance and
change the compensation in order to extend engineering, bidding support and construction
administration support services for Cedar River Trestle Bridge.
NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-18-109 is amended as follows:
1. Scope of Work:Section 1,Scope of Work, is amended to as specified in Exhibit A-2,which
is attached and incorporated herein.
2. Time of Performance: Section 3, Time of Performance, is amended pursuant to the
schedule(s) set forth in Exhibit A-2. All Work shall be performed by no later than
December 31, 2020.
3. Compensation: Section 4, Compensation, is amended so that the maximum amount of
compensation payable to Consultant is increased by $ 3,800.00 from $ 96,661.00
to $ 100,461.00, plus any applicable state and local sales taxes. The additional
compensation shall be paid based upon Work actually performed according to the rate(s)
or amounts specified in Exhibit A-2,which is attached and incorporated herein.
4. All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and
effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment as if
fully set forth herein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have voluntarily entered into this Agreement as of the date
last signed by the Parties below.

Subject: Modification of Contract CAG-18-109 for Cedar River Trail Bridge Construction
Support—Fee Modification
Dear Mr. Wyatt:
WSP USA is pleased to submit our fee proposal modification to the City of Renton to provide
services for the Cedar River Bridge Repairs project. Our fee modification is to adjust the contract
rates from the 2018 rates and match the WSP 2020 rates. This rate increase is due to the contract
extension, as the contract will be extended from the completion date of December 31, 2019
provided in Amendment Number.
Amendment 1 Contract Authorization $96,661
Additional Requested Amount: $3,800
Proposed Total Contract Amount: $100,461
The proposed contract modification would add$3,800(Three Thousand and Eight Hundred
dollars)to perform this work on a time-and-materials basis. The total contract value would
increase to a maximum of$100,461. We will perform the work in accordance with the terms
and conditions as were accepted by the City of Renton and WSP per contract CAG-18-109.
We look forward to the opportunity to continue in assisting the City of Renton with its
engineering needs.
