Please note that Energize Eastside increases the brittleness of Renton future not improving it. One earthquake break here or Energize Eastside stress corrosion break like happened to William 30" Pipeline in WA TWICE in 2003. Columbia Grid was forced to be created in just 2006 when all other western regions had grid planning organizations for over 50 to 70 years. FERC force BPA?SCL?PSE to form Columbia Gris in 2006 but is is done as a nonprofit corp not ISO (Independent system operator, which California has) nor a RTO a region Transmission Planning organization. Likely still one of the top five experts fuel fire suppression. Also highly trained for Long- term corrosion preparedness including stress corrosion which caused the William Pipeline explosion twice in WA in 2003. Dear Ms. Ding, I am writing to ask that the city NOT approve PSE's application to build Energize Eastside because: 1. It is unnecessary and wasteful of ratepayer funds. 2. It is risky to install tall power poles within feet of two half-century-old petroleum pipelines. 3. It damages communities and the environment by removing thousands of valuable urban trees. 4. There are less costly ways to enhance the reliability and resiliency of the Eastside power grid. Please notify me when any Renton public hearing for this project is announced. Sincerely, Todd Andersen & Jennifer Steinman & Ryan Andersen 4419 138th Ave SE Bellevue WA 98006.
