Please consider the danger from having an electromagnetic field right overhead or in the
immediate back yard of our Renton homes.
"The strongest magnetic fields are usually emitted from high voltage transmission lines — the
power lines on the big, tall metal towers. To be sure that you are reducing the exposure levels
to 0.5 milligauss (mG) or less, a safety distance of 700 feet may be needed."
Puget Sound Energy's production and delivery of electric power is fast becoming archaic. The
company will not move into the future -- alternative and clean energy -- unless forced to do so,
primarily because they do not recognize the competition that is on the horizon.
Energize Eastside is a bad idea for Renton and the other cities that will be impacted.
