Please accept this letter as our support of this Project and it's Renton Segment at the fanuary Bth hearing. We have been following its process and progress, given the significance of its contribution to the economic vitality and continued health of the Eastside community by way of improving the delivery and reliability of power. A safe, reliable electricity infrastructure for the long term [beyond 2024) is imperative to not only to Renton but that of Issaquah and our region as a whole. We remain very concerned about a pending critical failure in the system and hope the Project will continue to be treated with a sense of urgency. Failure is not an option nor is risk for rolling blackouts. We trust in our local jurisdictions to balance supply and land use with PSE's local needs, federal mandates, and service delivery requirement as a regional electrical utility. Working together for the greater good is paramount. We appreciate everyone's commitment and the thorough study required to reach this final decision.
