AMENDMENT NO. 4 TO AGREEMENT FOR CEDAR RIVER
TRESTLE BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT - SCOUR
POTENTIAL INSPECTION
THIS AMENDMENT, dated 7y Ct— I R , 2020, is by and between the City of Renton
(the "City"), a Washington municipal corporation, and WSP USA, Inc. ("Consultant"), a New York
corporation. The City and the Consultant are referred to collectively in this Amendment as the
"Parties." Once fully executed by the Parties, this Amendment is effective as of the last date
signed by both parties.
Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Consultant under Agreement CAG-18-109, dated
June 5, 2019, to provide necessary services for the Cedar River Trestle Bridge Repairs (referred
to herein as the "Agreement");
Whereas,the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to change the scope of work and change the
compensation in order to incorporate inspections of the Cedar River Steel Bridge left bank bridge
pier.
NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-18-109 is amended as follows:
1. Scope of Work: Section 1, Scope of Work, is amended to add work as specified in Exhibit
A, which is attached and incorporated herein.
2. Compensation: Section 4, Compensation, is amended so that the maximum amount of
compensation payable to Consultant is increased by$ 5,851.00 from $ 106,080.00
to $ 111,931.00 , plus any applicable state and local sales taxes. The additional
compensation shall be paid based upon Work actually performed according to the rate(s)
or amounts specified in Exhibit A, which is attached and incorporated herein.
3. All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and
effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment as if
fully set forth herein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF,the Parties have voluntarily entered into this Amendment as of the date
last signed by the Parties below.

Subject: Modification of Contract CAG-18-109 for Cedar River Trail Bridge Left Bank Bridge Pier
Scour Potential Inspection
Dear Mrs. Severtsen:
WSP USA is pleased to submit our fee proposal modification to the City of Renton to provide services
for the Cedar River Bridge Repairs project. Our fee modification is to incorporate inspection of the Cedar
River Steel Bridge left bank bridge pier inspection. Included in this inspection is a site investigation by
WSP and PanGEO Inc.to observe scour at the bridge pier after recent high waters. PanGEO will provide
the City with a draft, then final letter report discussing the scour potential at the left bank bridge pier, and
providing recommendations as require to minimize the scour potential.

Modification 2—Contract Extension and Rate Mod.Contract Authorization $100,461

Proposed Total Contract Amount: $111,931
The proposed contract modification would add $5,851 (Five Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty One
dollars)to perform this work on a time-and-materials basis. The total contract value would increase to a
maximum of$111,931. We will perform the work in accordance with the terms and conditions as were
accepted by the City of Renton and WSP per contract CAG-18-109.
We look forward to the opportunity to continue in assisting the City of Renton with its engineering needs.
