HomeMy WebLinkAboutAdden 2AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO AGREEMENT FOR WATER SYSTEM PLAN UPDATE CAG-17-193 THIS AMENDMENT corporation. The City and the Consultant are referred to collectively in this Amendment as the signed by both parties. Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Consultant under Agreement CAG-17-193, dated August 16, 2017, to provide necessary services for the Water System Plan Update (referred to Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to change the scope of work, change the time for performance, and change the compensation in order to provide additional hydraulic modeling services. NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-17-193 is amended as follows: 1. Scope of Work: Section 1, Scope of Work, is amended to add work as specified in Exhibit A-2, which is attached and incorporated herein. 2.Time of Performance:Section 3, Time of Performance, is amended pursuant to the schedule(s) set forth in Exhibit B-2. All Work shall be performed by no later than June 30, 2021. 3. Compensation: Section 4, Compensation, is amended so that the maximum amount of compensation payable to Consultant is increasedby $55,283 from $421,419 to $476,702, plus any applicable state and local sales taxes. The additional compensation shall be paid based upon Work actually performed according to the rate(s) or amounts specified in Exhibit C-2, which is attached and incorporated herein. 4.All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment as if fully set forth herein. This includes the transfer and training of the service agreement update. The following tasks under this Scope of Services have been project, previous efforts by the Consultant team members on the Water System Plan project, and discussions with City staff. Consultant will lead an 8-hour workshop to train City staff on using their hydraulic model. Task 1 Activities 101.Prepare Training Materials. Consultant will prepare a PowerPoint presentation for the 102.Lead Training Workshop. Consultant will lead a 8-hour workshop for City staff. This workshop will cover the procedures for evaluating available pressures and fire flows infrastructure, and equipment settings. The scope of the training may be as follows, including hands-on exercises. However, agenda below may be subject to change. Section 1. The purpose for this task is to provide support to City staff with hydraulic model questions after the training. Forty (40) hours have been budgeted for this effort. Assumptions •City shall authorized any work by Consultant for this task. •No more than forty (40) hours of support will be provided. City Deliverables •None. Consultant Deliverables •To be determined based on request. The purpose for this task is to provide as-needed modeling services for the City. Services may include system development, expansion, rehabilitation and replacement, system operations, fire flow evaluations. The Consultant, on a project basis, will be given individual task assignments for work related to hydraulic modeling. These task assignments will describe the work to be completed, completion dates, and compensation amount. An approved task assignment shall be required between the Consultant and the City prior to commencing any work for any individual task. Deliverables and meetings will be determined by the City staff during the negotiation.
