SUBJECT: Administrative Report
• On Wednesday, September 9, the Renton History Museum reopened with limited
hours and limited capacity, consistent with the Governor's Safe Start Plan. The
Museum will be open Wednesdays through Fridays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., until further
notice, with masks and social distancing required. Admission will be by donation for
the month of September. The Museum reopens with two new exhibits: the
Smithsonian Institution's Hometown Teams exhibit and a special exhibit on Renton's
Sporting Triumphs. Both exhibits will be on display until Saturday, October 17.

information.
• Public Health - Seattle & King County has opened a free COVID-19 testing site at 805
SW 10th Ave. in Renton. The site is open Monday to Saturday, from 8:30 a.m. to
5:30 p.m. Make sure to register for an appointment

testing). If you need assistance, call the King County COVID-19 Call Center from 8
a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week: 206-477-3977.
• Information about preventative street maintenance, traffic impact projects, and
road closures happening this week can be found at http://rentonwa.gov/traffic. All
projects are weather permitting and unless otherwise noted, streets will always
remain open. Preventative street maintenance, traffic impact projects, and road
closures will be at the following locations:
Monday, September 14 through Thursday, September 17, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00
p.m. Southbound Duvall Avenue NE between NE 10th Street and NE 12th Street
will be restricted to curb lane travel only.

Single intermittent lane closure on the south side of South 3rd Street from
Shattuck Avenue South to Logan Avenue South due to utility construction.

Single lane closure on Ripley Lane North just north of the VMC and the trailhead
going north in support of the WSDOT I-405 Renton to Bellevue Widening and

Intermittent lane closures in both directions of Talbot Road South between the
north side of Valley Medical Center and 4550 block due to roadway construction.
