Subject:Homeless at Red Lion In on Grady Way
Dear City Council,
I saw an article that the Renton City Council is working to close down the homeless facility at the Red Lion Inn on Grady
Way.
My wife and I have driven past the facility and saw the homeless are contained by a chain link fence with a security
guard. We saw no homeless roaming the parking lot or nearby businesses.
My wife and I think Renton should allow this facility to continue to operate through the winter at least until a COVID-19
vaccine is available. It does not bother us and these people need a place to stay to get through this pandemic.
