Subject:Red Lion homeless shelter
Dear Renton City Council & Mayor,
As long time Renton residents, we are supportive of the measures you are taking in updating zoning codes with regards
to homeless shelters.
King County should not be able to make decisions for the City of Renton, especially when it is a detriment to the
community, which the Red Lion homeless shelter has proven to be. We are all for helping those that need help, but
having a homeless shelter at the gateway to our City and next to shopping & neighborhoods is not acceptable, especially
with the dramatic uptick in crime.
Thank you for standing up for what is best for our community and City.
