Subject:Shelter is critical during this pandemic (and always)
Dear Renton City Councilmembers,
I'm urging you to not to shut down or restrict any homeless shelters. People nee d a safe place to live and social distance.
Without the Red Lion and other shelters, where are people supposed to go? Kicking the can down the road does not
solve the problem. Yes, shelters are only a band-aid solution, but it is the immediate humane thing to do.
