Honorable Council Members,
I am writing to you to express my concerns on AB-2766. Mr. Bath and his partners have been instrumental in aiding
homeless people during the Pandemic. They take great pride in their contributions to combating the spread of Covid-19
through Renton. They want to continue to help people but AB-2766 is aimed at preventing this from happening. I stand
firmly in my belief that AB-2766 is not going to help anyone, instead it will hurt many. People vote no AB-2766. As the
Pandemic continues to displace people, with the homeless population potentially getting even larger, we must make sure
that resources such as the Red Lion Hotel are available to them. The pandemic has highlighted the inequities faced by
Americans when dealing the Pandemic. Homeless people deserve an equal chance to prevent catching and spreading
Covid-19. Moreover, Mr. Bath is an upstanding citizen and has created many jobs in Renton and contributed to various
charities due to his selfless nature. Please vote no, thank you.
