During its Monday, November 23, 2020, regular meeting which will be held virtually and which will begin at 7:00 PM,
the Renton City Council will hold a public hearing on the following topic:
“An Ordinance of the City of Renton, Washington, Adopting the Following Interim Zoning Controls: Clarifying Hotel,
Social Service Organizations, and Diversion Facility Land Use Definitions; Defining and Establishing Regulations for
Homeless Service Land Uses; and Amending the Commercial Arterial (CA) Zoning District to Allow One COVID-19
Deintensification Shelter to Temporarily Operate.”
The notice of public hearing is attached and has also been posted to the City’s website
here: https://rentonwa.gov/city_hall/administrative_services/city_clerk/public_notices . The notice of public hearing
provides information regarding attendance and participation in the public hearing.
Finally, the agenda packet for the November 23 meeting will be posted to the Renton City Council’s webpage later this
week, likely Thursday afternoon: https://renton.civicweb.net/Portal/MeetingTypeList.aspx. The agenda packet will
include a draft ordinance regarding the above-described topic.
