PUBLIC WORKS AGREEMENT FOR TREE SERVICES
THIS RENEWAL , dated January ____, 2021 , is by and between the City of Renton (the “City”), a
Washington municipal corporation, and Davey Tree Expert Company (“Contractor”), an Ohio
Corporation registered in Washington State. The City and the Contractor are referred to
collectively in this Renewal NO 1 for 2021 as the “Parties.” Once fully executed by the Parties,
this Amendment is effective as of the last date signed by both parties.
Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Contractor under Agreement CAG-19-269, dated
September 16, 2019 and extended by Change Order No. 1 December 31, 2020, to provide
necessary services for the Tree Services (referred to herein as the “Agreement”);
Whereas, the Parties wish to Renew the Agreement under Paragraph 3 C.
NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-19-269 is r enewed / amended as follows:
1. Section 1 Scope of Work: Section 1, Scope of Work, Exhibit A – is unchanged. Exhibit C -
R1-2021 ON-CALL WORK ORDER ADDENDUM is revised as attached for the year 2021.
2.Section 3 Time of Performance/Term of Agreement/ Renewal : Section 3, B is amended
to Add:
B.For the 2021 Renewal No. 1 all Work shall be performed not later than December 31, 2021.
3. Section 4 Compensation: Section 4, Compensation, is unchanged. SCHEDULE OF COSTS
AND HOURLY RATES Exhibit B R1-2021 is revised as attached for the year 2021.
4.All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and
effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment as if
fully set forth herein.
