RENTON CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that per the Governor’s Emergency Proclamations, the City of Renton
is prohibited from holding in-person meetings at this time. Therefore, a virtual/telephonic Public
Hearing will be held by the Renton City Council on February 22, 2021 at 7 p.m. by means of a
Zoom video-conference web application. For those wishing to attend by Zoom, please (1) click

(or copy the URL and paste into a web browser) or (2) call-in to the Zoom meeting by
dialing 253-215-8782 and entering 835 3300 9277, Passcode 347602, or (3) call 425-430-
6501 by 10 a.m. on the day of the meeting to request an invite with a link to the
meeting. The meeting can also be viewed on Renton’s Channel 21, or streaming live at
rentonwa.gov/streaming.
The Renton City Council will consider the following:
An Ordinance of the City of Renton, Washington, Adopting Interim Zoning
Controls for the Urban Center (UC) Zone by amending Subsections 4-2-
080.A.6.iv, 4-2-120.A, 4-4-150-C, 4-4-150.D, and 4-4-150.E of the Renton
Municipal Code; providing for severability; declaring an emergency; and
establishing an immediate effective date.
If you wish to speak during the Public Hearing, you must provide your name and email
address to Julia Medzegian, Council Liaison, at jmedzegian@rentonwa.gov or calling
425-430-6555 by 10 a.m. on Monday, February 22, 2021 so that the meeting
information can be provided to you prior to the start of the meeting. Alternatively,
written comments on this topic can be submitted to cityclerk@rentonwa.gov by 5:00
p.m. on February 22, 2021.
