CITY OF RENTON Ι PERMIT CENTER
CHECK INSPECTION STATUS ONLINE
City of Renton will be utilizing permitting.rentonwa.gov for inspection status.
FROM THE HOME SCREEN
Select Search on the top Menu bar.
STEP 1:
On the Search drop-down, select Permit
STEP 2:
Enter the permit number in the Permit Number field and click the Search button.
STEP 3:
Your permit results will appear below the search
criteria. Here you will see the status of the permit. For
more details about the permit, select the permit
number link to open the permit details page.
STEP 4:
On the permit details page click Inspections in the center of the screen.

STEP 5:
To get more details on a specific inspection click on the inspection number link under View Inspection column.
STEP 6:
On the Inspection Details screen you can see Inspection Status, Inspector Name, Requested Date, Scheduled Date and
Completed Date, click the Checklist button in the center of the screen. Below will be the checklist items that were
inspected on the specific inspection and any comments from the inspector (only applicable if inspection failed, partially
passed or was canceled).
