<br /> CALL TO ORDER: Shannon Matson,Chair,called the meeting to order. A quorum was present.

<br /> Karerrwelcomed and introduced the newest Committee members Henry Malphus and Kyle Burleigh. �`�
<br /> Introductions were made around the table.

<br /> 2. APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MINUTES �
<br /> Ryan moved to approve the December Minutes as presented; Brook seconded; motion carried.
<br /> 3. HUMAN SERVICES STRATEGIC PLAN
<br /> Allegra reviewed the meeting objectives. This meeting will be refining the definitions and the roles '
<br /> that were discussed at the last meeting.
<br /> A. There was discussion as to whether or not it was a good idea for the community to give input on -
<br /> • the roles and definitions,and what we hoped to gain from their input. It was decided to have
<br /> � them at the meeting,'but not purposely seek input.
<br /> B. Members were asked to write down three things each person sees as being the most important
<br /> things for Human Services to take on this year to support community needs. The purpose was ,
<br /> to start forming the basis for the strategies. Some responses were: - - -
<br /> , Involve other agencies/Interagency cooperation
<br /> Capacity building by raising more money
<br /> _ Innovation in funding mechanisms
<br /> � Educate,community leaders in emerging issues ' ,
<br /> Focus on transportation issues—clients need to be able to get to where the services are ,
<br /> Programs are needed that target youth issues and intervention `
<br /> Evaluate and reflect regularly.
<br /> - Buy a building for the Meal Coalition and homeless shelter
<br /> Affordable housing - � �

<br /> Recognize and reach all communities
