CALL TO ORDER-President Pat Baylor opened the meeting at 10:00 A:M. APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Peggy Budziu made a motion agenda be approved, seconded by Niilt . PRESIDENTS REMARKS: � , TREASURER REPORT:Sandra Polley Bank balance as of 03/31/15 $17,803.19 RECREATION SUPERVISOR: Shawn Daly Shawn had a check for the treasurer from Lotti�e Calhoun in the amount of$125.00: Purchasing of the van is being finalized and we should have the van soon. It was suggested by the committee that we put Renton Senior Activity Center on the side of the van and we are going . to do that. - \, Shawn requested a check for Lisa Wivag in the amount of$39.92 to reimburse her for shirts for Bean Bag Baseball. A motion was made by Milt Tiede and seconded by Marge Cochran and motion was passed. Lighting in the parking lot,is completed and several committee members commentecl on what an improvement it made. _ � FYI the elevator will be out of service on Thursday for some repair wo'rk. Wednesday April 22"d our pool players are goingto Bremerton to play and beat their pool players. DIRECTOR/ADMINISTRATOR REPORT— Kris Stimpson The Senior Business Plan was reviewed by the committee. Next Monday Shawn, Debbie and Kris will present the plan to the whole City Council. In May Shawn and Kris will present the plan to the VVashington State Association of Senior Centers. Vicki' Richards had read the plan in its entirety and asked for clarification on several issues. Kris � . requested that a motion be made for,the Senior Advisory Board members accept the plan. Milt Tiede made_a motion to accept after amendments be made, Karla Nuss seconded and motion � passed with.three nays. Kris gave a status update on projects going on in Renton. Work has started on the new hotel at Coulon Park, two more hotels are proposed on Lake Washington:Blvd. the downtown library is ahead of schedule by three weeks and the Highlands Library is scheduled to open fall of 2015. The�pavers in front of Kidd Valley restaurant at Coulon Park are to be replaced. 'Will not.affect service at the restaurants: WRITTEN and/or ORAL COMlVIUNICATION — Dorothy Cook has been asked whether we might provide movies at the center. Shirley Haddock gave a quarter stat on number of inembers.using the center for exercise equipment, foot care and blood pressure. Mij.Charbonneau requested that her committee meet May 4th at 9:00 A.M. prior to board meeting. � � OLD BUSIIVESS — Vicki Richards wanted to know if any further conversations had been made regarding having a Parkinson Support Group at the center.
