Debbie said any complaints should be in writing and given to a staff person. It was brought to the secretary's attention that the Feb. 3`d minutes need to be corrected to read Terry Higashiyama will review a stand for the Memorial Book. Milt Tiede moved that the correction be made and Peggy Budziu seconded the motion. Committee voted on motion and it was approved. Peggy Budziu brought up the issue of kitchen staff and Meal on Wheels staff not clocking in. The questiori being is everyone that enters the building required to clock in? Kris Stimpson is going to follow this issue up with Shawn Da1y. Milt Tiede posed the question, "should Board Members be encouraged to wear their badges that identify them as board members other than when their in a meeting"? The consensus is that it promotes good advertisement for the Senior Center and there would not be a reason not to wear them other than the meetings. OLD SUSINESS Kris Stimpson is going to do a follow-up on status of the stand for the Memorial Book. l / r: _ - -- ; Page 3 Oflaiusaaess cot. The meeting was turned over to Tom Puthoff. He had brought two automatic defibulators and gave a demonstration on their application. The Senior Center has automatic defibulators on the wa11 on the main floor of the center and also on the upper floor wa11. The procedure would be if a person appears to be having a heart attack, staff is to be notified immediately. If a by-stander was aware of the defibulator they could remove it from the wall to have it ready to give to a staff person, but only the staff person is authorized to use the machine. Tom also informed us that he teaches CPR. The committee would like Tom to schedule a class. PUBLIC CONTS-none Vice President Bill Clapp adjourned the meeting at 11:10 A.M.
