Dear Council Members : • • I have been told by the Zoning staff that my property has been recently rezoned to "CB" Community Commercial . This makes the condominium a nonconforming use . I would like to request a "Class A Nonconforming Use" for the following reasons : 1 . This is a compatible use with existing uses within this area. The property to the north is an apartment building and the properties to the west are all apartment buildings . The property to the south is a City of Renton fire station. The properties to the east across Harrington Ave are commercial uses . 2 . The use will not create a hazard, nuisance or other impacts to adjacent uses . My late husband (Chester Biggins) and I built this building in 1968 and we have been the owners and managers ever since. I have enclosed pictures of the building and the surrounding area . Thank you for your consideration. Sincerely, 'Olive Bigginsf enclosures 1 . Standing on Harrington Ave looking west at Biggins Apartments . i L 1 I I.
