STORY WALK DISPLAY AT LIBERTY PARK
This Agreement is executed as of the 1st day of September, 2021 (the "Commencement Date") by and
between the City of Renton, a non-charter code city under RCW 35A.03 and a municipal corporation of
the state of Washington ("City") and King County Rural Library District d/b/a King County Library
System, a Washington rural library district ("KCLS").
1.Name of Professional Service Provider: King County Library System, a Washington rural library
district (hereinafter "Provider")
Professional Service: Installation of story board pages mounted on metal frames along a walking path
in a park, as further specified in this agreement.
2.Scope of Engagement: King County Library System is promoting literacy, health, and art appreciation
using deconstructed children's storybooks installed along a walking path at Liberty Park. At the start
of the walk, people will begin to read posted pages of a children's story and end the book at the end
of the pathway loop (hereinafter "Engagement").

7. Insurance:
X Evidence of liability insurance coverage, with the City of Renton named as an Additional Insured,
is required. □Evidence of liability insurance coverage is waived by Risk Management and is not required.
The City of Renton does not represent that any required minimum insurance, or waiver of such
insurance, is adequate to protect Provider from financial liability created by Provider's acts or
omissions.
8.Reservation: Subject to constitut ional or other legal limits, the City of Renton reserves the right to
specify the manner, means and details of the performance of services by Provider as well as the mode
in which the service shall be accomplished.
