City of Renton — Renton library Advisory Board
Meeting Minutes
December 6, 2016 — Renton History Museum
1. Kelly Beymer opened the Holiday Meeting/Party at 5:20 p.m., and welcomed the guests.
Attendees included Park Commissioners, Renton Library Advisory Board members,
Human Services Advisory Committee members, Renton Historical Society Board
members, City Councilmembers, Mayor Law, Jay Covington, and Community Services
staff.
2. Mayor Address
a. Mayor welcomed and thank the board members for their time and efforts in
volunteering on their respective boards and the value they bring to them.
3. Boards and Commissions Chairs
a. Chairs or board/committee representatives shared highlights of projects or
accomplishments their respective team experienced this past year.
4. Gift
a. Kelly also thanked the volunteers and the city staff for their support and
involvement on their boards, and then she and the Mayor handed out
thank you gifts.
5. Networking
a. Time was opened for members to socialize and network.
6. Board/Committee Communication/Discussion
a. No official board/committee communication or business was discussed.
7. Adjournment
a. Meeting adjourned at 7:00 p.m.
