HomeMy WebLinkAboutAdden 1AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AGREEMENT WITH KING COUNTY LIBRARY SYSTEM FOR STORY WALK DISPLAY AT LIBERTY PARK THIS AMENDMENT, dated for reference purposes only as October 1, 2021, is by and between the City of Renton (the “City”), a Washington municipal corporation, and King County Rural Library District d/ b/ a King County Library System, a Washington rural library district ("KCLS"). The City and the Provider are referred to collectively in this Amendment as the “Parties.” Once fully executed by the Parties, this Amendment is effective as of the last date signed by both parties. Whereas, the City engaged in the professional services the under Agreement CAG-21-211, dated September 1, 2021, to provide necessary services for the installation of story board pages mounted on metal frames along a walking path in a park, as further specified in this agreement (referred to herein as the “Agreement”); Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to add the installation of story board pages mounted on metal frames along a walking path in at Sunset Neighborhood Park, as further specified in this agreement, from October 1 – November 1, 2021. NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-21-211 is amended as follows: 1.Scope of Engagement, Section 2: is Amended to add for Sunset Neighborhood Park as follows: King County Library System is promoting literacy, health, and art appreciation using deconstructed children's storybooks installed along a walking path at Sunset Neighborhood Park. At the start of the walk, people will begin to read posted pages of a children's story and end the book at the end of the pathway loop (hereinafter "Engagement").
