AMENDMENT NO. _1_ TO
2021-2022 HUMAN SERVICES AGREEMENT CAG # 21-120
THIS AMENDMENT, dated for reference purposes only as March 25, 2022, is by and between
the City of Renton (the “City”), a Washington municipal corporation, and Lifewire (“Agency”). The
City and the Agency are referred to collectively in this Amendment as the “Parties.” Once fully
executed by the Parties, this Amendment is effective as of the last date signed by both parties.
Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Agency under Agreement CAG-21-120, dated May
7, 2021, to provide necessary services for the Housing Stability for survivors, including children,
of domestic abuse (referred to herein as the “Agreement”);
Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to change the Scope of Work in order to
clarify the term “City of Renton clients” to meet the intent of the City .
NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-21-120 is amended as follows:
1. Scope of Work: Section 1, Scope of Work, is amended to modify the Scope of Work to
clarify that
A. “City of Renton clients” are those whose most recent past permanent housing
is within the corporate boundaries of the City of Renton. The Agency will
confirm the location online through either the City of Renton “COR” maps or
King County parcel viewer. Generally, the 98055 and 98057 zip codes are
within the corporate boundaries; and,
B. Personnel and assistance funds, including financial aid, may only be used to
assist City of Renton clients as described above; and,
C. The unit of service for “Unduplicated City of Renton clients” means that City
of Renton clients as described above may only be considered as
“unduplicated” the first time they receive services in a calendar year.
2. All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall re main in full force and
effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment as if
fully set forth herein.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have voluntarily entered into this Amendment as of the date
last signed by the Parties below.
