AGREEMENT FOR NON-COMPENSATED SERVICES
2022 RENTON MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL
THIS AGREEMENT, is being entered into this 28th day of April, 2022 by and between the City of
Renton (“City”), a Washington municipal corporation, and NEIL SHEESLEY, (“Volunteer”), in
consideration of the mutual benefits, terms and conditions hereinafter specified.
PURPOSE:
This Agreement serves to delineat the responsibilities of the City in providing communisty service
opportunities in support of Equity activities of the City; and to create an understanding between
the City and the Volunteer regarding the conditions associated with volunteer opportunities.
SCOPE OF SERVICES:
The City and Volunteer hereby agree that City shall provide non-compensated opportunities for
Equity-related community service in support of the 2022 Renton Multicultural Festival
(“Festival”).
Description of Service Provided:
Volunteer will provide, set up, staff, and strike audio system equipment in support of the
Festival on Saturday May 7, 2022 for all scheduled performances at both the Indoor and
Outdoor stages at the Renton Pavilion Events Center (233 Burnett Ave. South, Renton
WA) between 10:30 am and 3:00 pm.
This non-compensated service ___DOES or _XX__DOES NOT require a Background Check to
comply with state and local regulations or the City policies.
LEGAL RELATIONSHIP
Volunteer acknowledges and understands that this Agreement shall not in any way constitute
nor create an employer-employee relationship. City shall not be held liable for, nor shall
Volunteer be eligible for, any benefits or compensation as a result of this Agreement; including
but not limites to unemployment insurances, wages, or any other form of compensation.
INDEMNIFICATION AND RELEASE
City hereby indemnifies Volunteer for all claims for damages that may result from the good faith
performance of services delineated above. Volunteer hereby indemnifies, holds harmless, and
releases the City, its officers, agents, emplorees and volunteers ferom any and all claims or

liabilities arising or in any way resulting from Colunteer’s affiliation with City as a result of this
Agreement.
TERM OF AGREEMENT
The period of service shall be commencing not sooner than May 5, 2022 and terminating not
laterthan May 8, 2022. This Agreement may be terminated upon the rendering of written notice
by either part. Such termination shall take effect immediately unless so stipulated by the initiator
of the termination.
Further by my signature below, I affirm that I am over 18 years of age and give my permission
for photos and/or video to be taken without recompense during volunteer activies for publicity
purposes.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have voluntarily entered into this Agreement as of the date
last signed by the Parties below.
