HomeMy WebLinkAboutPH Notice - BESS Moratorium Public Hearing - 6-6-2022CITY OF RENTON RENTON CITY COUNCIL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Renton City Council has fixed the 6th day of June, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. as the date and time for a public hearing to be held in the seventh floor Council Chambers of Renton City Hall, 1055 S. Grady Way, Renton, 98057, to consider the following: An Ordinance of the City of Renton, Washington, declaring a moratorium on land use, building permit, and business license applications for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS); setting forth findings of fact in support of said moratorium; providing for severability; declaring an emergency; and establishing an immediate effective date. Please Note: Due to a construction project occurring in Council Chambers, the physical location for attendees may be in an alternate location at City Hall with limited seating. Additionally, this meeting is also being offered as a virtual meeting by the Renton City Council on June 6, 2022 at 7 p.m. by means of a Zoom video-conference web application.
