THE CONTRACT IS MODIFIED AS FOLLOWS:
Description of Change:
Add the following lump sum item to the contract:
o Lump Sum Item No. 30-1 CREDIT FOR NO REMOVAL OF SERVICE CABINET AND
BASE AT STA 29+00 RT
o Measurement: per Lump Sum
o Payment: Lump Sum Price = -$550.00
o Location: Sta. 29+00 RT
Reason for Change:
The contract drawing IL8.06 construction note 10 called for the removal of the existing service
cabinet and base upon transfer of the illumination system to a new service. This work is
included in the lump sum item No 71 Illumination system. Upon investigation during
construction, the existing service was found to also serve a pump system that is operated and
maintained by the City of Renton Parks Department. The service and needs to remain in place for that
pump system.

Equitable Adjustment:
This Change Order does include an equitable adjustment per Section 1-09.4 of the 2021
WSDOT/APWA Standard Specifications. See attached.

The Time for Completion is extended 0 Working Days.

Sections 1-04.4 and 1-04.5 of the 2021 WSDOT/APWA Standard Specifications shall govern
this Change Order. The Work of the referenced Contract is modified to include the changes
detailed herein. The payment provided for herein shall constitute the complete and final
settlement for all costs of labor, equipment, materials, overhead, profit, permit fees, and all
other claims that may be made by the Contractor as a result of this change.
