HomeMy WebLinkAboutCO 8                  CAG-21-002, CO #8-22 Surface Water Engineering Manager 8/16/2022                          (approved via email by Cheryl Beyer)8/11/2022 approved to be paid under change order #8. j.mcdonald, pe city of renton 6/27/2022                                                          City of Renton Public Works Department Field Work Directive FWD #_14_ Project Name: NE 16th St – Jefferson Ave NE Stormwater Green Connections Project CAG-_21-_002__ Contractor: Strickland & Sons Excavation, LLC Subject:Fire Station 12 Irrigation Date:7/21/2021 Scope:Strickland & Sons Excavation, LLC found some unknown irrigation in the City of Renton right-of-way that conflicted with the pervious concrete sidewalk to be installed. During further investigation with Scott Murphy from RFA it was found that some of the irrigation could be removed while some will need to be relocated and remain online. The City of Renton is directing Strickland & Sons Excavation, LLC to make the changes to the irrigation system for Fire Station 12 as noted in the attached document, SWSK-07. Strickland & Sons Excavation, LLC will work with Scott Murphy (SMurphy@RentonRFA.org) from RFA to ensure that the rerouted irrigation system meets the fire department’s needs. Costs for irrigation work will be submitted to the City of Renton for review. Contractor Acknowledgement: By: Contractor Signature Date Title By: __________________________ Signature Date City of Renton Project Manager 7/21/2021Jared McDonald, PE                    ne 16th st - jefferson ave ne stormwater green connections project SWSK-07 cap north 1-1/2" line cap east 1-1/2" line relocate 2" line and corresponding elements to the east so that it is out from under the sidewalk. 6" min. separation from sidewalk to irrigation. reconnect electrical system so that irrigation functions from control panel. work with scott murphy to ensure that this works. remove irrigation as needed. ensure electrical is still functioning. note: irrigation to north does not appear to be connected to loop. discussions in field with scott murphy determined that this portion of the system being off would be acceptable.                    approved to be paid under change order #8. j.mcdonald, pe city of renton 6/27/2022
