NOTE TO ALL PLANHOLDERS:
This Addendum No. 8, containing the following revisions, additions, deletions, and/or clarifications, is
hereby made a part of the Plans and Contract Provisions (Contract Documents) for the above-named
project. Bidders shall take this Addendum into consideration when preparing and submitting their bids.
Bidders shall acknowledge receipt and acceptance of this Addendum No. 8 in the space provided on the
Proposal Signature Page or by signing in the space provided below and submitting the signed addendum
with the bid package. Failure to provide this written acknowledge may result in disqualification of the Bidder’s
submittal.
CONTRACT PROVISIONS – VOLUME 1
1. Revise the Special Provision Section 8-13 MONUMENT CASES (Page SP-248) as follows:
Section 8-13.3 Construction Requirements revise the last sentence of the first paragraph as
follows:
The materials and method of construction shall conform to the requirements of the Standard Plan
and Renton Standard Plan H031 as approved by the Engineer.
CONTRACT PROVISIONS – VOLUME 2
2. DELETE Appendix A - Wage Rates: David-Bacon Act Wage Determination (Pages 1-49) and
REPLACE with attached Appendix A - Wage Rates: David-Bacon Act Wage Determination (Pages
1-49). Revisions include:
Federal Wage Rate update to current rates

3. Appendix B – City of Renton Standard Plans add the following attached Renton Standard Detail
H031 – Monument Case & Cover to the end of Appendix B following Renton Standard Plan 407.

4.DELETE Plan Sheets 92, 93 and REPLACE with attached Plan Sheets 92, 93. Revisions include:
a.Stormwater clearances crossing projections
ALL OTHER REQUIREMENTS OF THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS REMAIN IN EFFECT.
